Our Year 7 girls' football team did Orewa College proud at the North Harbour Intermediate Schools Zone Day on 26 May.

Held at Becroft Park with 13 schools competing, the team played seven spirited games and placed 6th overall. The final match came down to a nail-biting penalty shootout.

Coach Natalie Rees was full of praise for the team’s effort. Special thanks to senior students Fynn Henoch and Anton Stein, who helped train the team even on chilly mornings. Shout-out also to Callum Carncross for driving the team, and to all the parents and grandparents who came to cheer from the sidelines.
