Orewa College netball teams shine at North Harbour tournament: strong results & great sportsmanship

“Even the rain couldn’t dampen our team spirit.”

The courts were slick and the rain steady, but that didn’t stop our netball squads from turning heads at the North Harbour Secondary Schools Tournament.

Premier 1 battled it out in the top Premier grade and came away with a thrilling 5th-place finish after a nail-biting win over Carmel College. Senior 2 and 3 teams held their own in tough Senior A and B grades, gaining confidence and court time against some of the region’s best.

It was just as exciting for our youngest teams, Year 9/1 and 9/2, who competed side-by-side in the same grade, building momentum with every game and showing excellent teamwork.
