Orewa College is making an exciting change to student leadership in 2025! The Student Council will have a fresh structure to ensure every student has a voice and can actively shape the future of our kura.

What’s Changing?
- A more inclusive Student Council with representatives from all year levels
- Regular student feedback gathered by Form Class teachers and Deans
- Insights shared with senior leadership and the Board of Trustees
This new structure gives students a stronger platform to influence decision-making, improving both learning and well-being at Orewa College.

“This new approach will provide even more opportunities for students to contribute and lead,” said Deputy Principal James Went, who is leading the initiative. “It’s an exciting time for student representation at Orewa College!” By working together, our students will have a greater impact than ever before.
