Many do not realize, but you have to take into consideration the size of the home, as well as the type of flooring in the house. Every size works better for different size homes. It does not hurt to ask someone in the store that you are buying from either. Many of the vacuum pumps are full sized Edwards vacuum pumps, however they work better in cleaning homes of a larger size.
